Anna included a great deal of information about our plans to reopen the branches in her blog post last Thursday. At that time we said that we would be tentatively opening on June 15, and that date is now official. We are also ready to report our new hours:
Monday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday 12 noon to 7 p.m. (curbside service by appointment only)
Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday 12 noon to 7 p.m. (curbside service by appointment only)
Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (also 10 a.m. to 12 noon curbside service by appointment only)
Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This information will be shared with the public via a press release, the @FCPL email newsletter, our website, our blog, and our social media beginning Wednesday.
Please keep in mind that these hours may (and probably will) be adjusted as we move forward. We will be flexible as we work to meet the needs of our patrons.
In addition to the other information found in Anna's blog post, the Friends bookstores will not be opening at this time.
Please add any questions or comments below.
Just to clarify, curbside is only 3 days a week and overlaps with open hours only on Tuesday and Thursday? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes, we're offering curbside service three days a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings, but there's no overlap--we won't be open to the public during those times. We'll be open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday afternoons, and Sundays. We'll make sure that point is clear in our communication to patrons.
DeleteThank you for the clarification.
