The end of Summer Reading! July 31 is the last day for patrons to register for the 2021 Summer Reading Program. Patrons can continue to log reading in Beanstack after Summer Reading has ended* and the last day to pick up incremental prizes is August 15.
Patrons have been registering throughout July and we continue to have new patrons register for SRP every day. Make sure to keep pushing the program until the end of July and remind patrons to pick up their prizes. Grand prize winners will be drawn on Monday, August 2 and winners will be notified via email.
Here are the current numbers for summer reading registrations:
Participation is still down 38% from 2019 but participation is up 58% from 2020.
Thank you to staff for promoting the Summer Reading program and putting great reads into the hands of patrons!
*If a patron wants to log reading after July 31, they must back-date the reading so that the dates align with challenge dates (in other words, they can only log reading done between May 27 and July 31).
