Programming Picks

 Submitted by Cleo Joyce

Patrons enjoy some parachute fun at Sharon Fork's PJ Storytime on July 12

Storytimes are back at FCPL! Youth Services staff at the Hampton Park, Post Road, and Sharon Forks locations are excited to welcome our youngest patrons back for storytimes! This past week, PR and SF opened their meeting room doors for storytimes. Hampton Park has been offering storytimes since early June. Cumming staff are eagerly waiting to resume storytimes as soon as the roof project is completed. Patrons have been thrilled to return to storytime and staff were met with big smiles, new faces, and kiddos who have grown a lot this past year.

Hampton Park Storytimes
Mondays: Books & Babies at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
Thursdays: Toddler Tales at 10:00 and Preschool Pals and 11:00 a.m.

Beginning August, branches will start phasing in more regular programming such as Books & Babies returning to all the branches, preschool STEAM, Paws to Read, and adult programs such as lectures, crafts, and some new in-person book groups. Branch staff are excited to be welcoming our patrons back to in-person programming and patrons of all ages are looking forward to attending library programs again. It should be a great fall for library programming!
