This week the Finance department began the Tyler
Incode-10 software implementation which is replacing the Blackbaud Financial Edge
system. Tyler is a web-based ERP
(Enterprise Resource Planning) solution and we purchased the Financial
Management and the Personnel Management suites.
The suites include several modules and we are implementing them in
stages (i.e., General Ledger, Purchasing/Payables, Payroll, Positing Budgeting,
and Fixed Assets).
Personnel Management is in the process of implementation
and included in the suite is a web-based ESS (Employee Self Service) that gives
staff the convenience of 24/7 access to their individual payroll records. Staff will be able to view their personal
information, W-4 elections and pay history, just to name a few. A Time and Attendance system with
electronic timesheets will be implemented in the coming months.
Payroll was processed in the new system for the first
time this week. Paystubs will be paper
versions until the ESS module is implemented.
Please review your paystub and contact Tonya Wallace if
you have any questions.
What’s next?
·
We will start providing Supervisor training
on the purchasing module and how to approve purchases.
·
After the ESS is implemented, your paystub
will be emailed securely to your personal email address. Please notify HR if your personal email address has changed. You will also be able to make changes
online to your personal information. You
will be able to electronically schedule annual/sick leave and look up your
leave balances and you will receive electronic approvals via email. Training
will be provided on how to access and use the ESS in the near future.
·
Be on the lookout for announcements regarding
Tyler Incode-10.
Please contact Tonya Wallace or Nikki Watkins if
you have any questions.
