In order to enhance security, beginning Thursday, October 21, Beanstack will be adding a new feature that locks accounts after multiple incorrect password attempts. If a patron enters the wrong password five times, their account will be locked for two hours.
Patrons will be able to unlock the account themselves by clicking a verification link sent to their email or they can reach out to your site's "Contact Us" email addresses for assistance (Cleo is the contact us email for FCPL). Administrators will be able to unlock an account by following these steps.
You can also reset a password for a patron if they don't remember their password and are concerned they may be locked out. Follow these instructions to reset a patron password.
