What: Crazy 8s Math Club - Grades 3 - 5

Are you ready to get crazy?  Did you know that math can be fun?  Join us for a 6 week series as we get fired up about math!  Build stuff, run, jump, play games, make music, and make a mess, all while learning math at the Cumming Library. 

What: Family History Month: Oral History
Where: Sharon Forks
When: Wednesday, October 06 2021, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
October is Family History Month and with the holiday season at our doorstep, now is the perfect time to record your family’s history. In this program, you'll hear some tips on how to best set up and record an oral history interview, some sample questions to get you started on the untold stories of your family’s history, and what to do after the interview.

What: Ghost Hunting 101 - By the Southeastern Institute of Paranormal Research
Where: Hampton Park
When: Saturday, October 09 2021, 5:30pm - 9:00pm
Stay after hours at the Hampton Park Library with the Southeastern Institute of Paranormal Research for an educational (and maybe a little spooky) seminar on ghost hunting techniques. Learn about the methods and devices used during paranormal investigations, then put that knowledge to use with a hands-on ghost hunt in the library! 

What: The Cuisine of Mexico
Where: Post Road
When: Sunday, October 10 2021, 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Mexican food is delicious, but the cuisine of Mexico can vary greatly depending on the region. Local Hispanic-owned business Tacos & Tequilas will talk about Mexican holiday foods, typical meals in regions of Mexico, and food staples found in a Mexican kitchen. A tasting buffet will be included as part of the presentation. This program will be in English and Spanish. Registration is required.
