What: Conversational English for Adults

All English learners are welcome to join this FREE conversational English for adults class no matter your country of origin, reading level or citizenship status. 
This course will help you practice your English reading, listening, and speaking skills. You will be encouraged to practice speaking and listening with other English learners. We will also spend time on grammar skills and learning fun cultural topics. 

This is the last week of this series at SF, but there are plans to offer this class at all four of our branches on a regular basis beginning in 2022.

Join us for Smart Art, a tween craft program where we’ll create masterpieces together! This month's craft: Eames-Inspired House of Cards.

What: Identity with Dr. Ary Malaver: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage 
Where: Cumming
When: Wednesday, October 27 2021, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Dr. Ary Malaver, a professor of Spanish at UNG will talk about how cultural awareness, identity and creativity can influence how we perceive differences. This program will be presented in English and Spanish.

What: Masterminds LEGO® Lounge - Get Your Build On Every Friday Afternoon!
Where: Post Road
When: Friday, October 29 2021, 4:00pm - 4:45pm
Bring your best Lego build ideas to our Masterminds Lego® Lounge each Friday this fall.
We will offer creative challenges for your child to tackle using 100 pounds of traditional Lego® blocks, Duplo® blocks and giant building bricks!

All four branches will host Trick or Treat storytimes for our young patrons so prepare for some costumed cuteness coming to the branch nearest you!

This week will also see two Community Input Meetings to gather thoughts and ideas for the design of the Denmark Library. Please help spread the word and tell your friends, family, and neighbors!
