Congratulations, Katherine Eitel!

Congratulations to our very own local author, Katherine Eitel. Katherine (aka Kathryn Wyvern) recently published her first book, The Red Days, and generously donated four copies that have been added to our Community Author collection at each branch. In this science fiction thriller, the main character Callista is summoned to New York City to meet the Supreme Commander, an extraterrestrial who conquered the planet two years prior. After their awkward meeting, she falls in with an underground organization seeking to wrest control of the planet back from the aliens. As a new threat looms, Callista must balance her pacifist ideology with the violent unrest of the world, as well as choose between her new friends and the Supreme Commander’s promises.
