State Professional Collection

Library staff in Georgia public libraries have access to the GPLS state professional collection.   These titles can be searched for using the PINES online catalog with a limiter in the 'search within' field to Georgia Public Library Service.  As a non-PINES library, we would access these titles for staff by submitting an interlibrary loan request.  Some of these materials may be available from other libraries, but the checkout dates may be shorter from institutions other than GPLS.

Staff also have access to the 'Library Science Database' from ProQuest.  This database provides full-text articles from over 150 publications in the field of library and information science.  This online database is available through GALILEO.
