Just a few reminders:
- If possible, turn off monitors (including touchscreen monitors) before cleaning them
- NEVER spray water or disinfectant directly on a device. Always spray it onto a cloth and then use the cloth to clean the device
- For cleaning and disinfecting electronics, distilled water is always preferable to tap water, if you can get it. This is because distilled water is less likely to streak and is also less conducive to electricity, so if you accidentally get it inside of an electronic device, it is less likely to cause a problem.
- Avoid highly concentrated alcohol (>70%) and non-diluted bleach or ammonia solutions, as these have the potential to damage screens, especially touchscreens
