FCPL has not filed any unemployment claims on behalf of employees


I have received emails that a couple of employees have received notices in the mail in regards to their unemployment benefits and that FCPL filed for unemployment on their behalf.

FCPL has not file any unemployment claims on behalf of any employees.  All employees have continued to receive payroll payments and should not receive unemployment benefits.

    Just a reminder to everyone FCPL has not filed unemployment benefits on behalf of any employees. If anyone previously worked for the school system you may have received unemployment benefits filed by the school on your behalf. You will need to contact the Georgia Dept. of Labor for assistance, FCPL has no way to assist you since we did not file anything on your behalf.
