- Wear a mask unless you are working alone in an office with the door closed
- Wear a mask when unable to maintain at least 6 feet of distance
- Wear a mask when moving through or occupying common areas
Here are some revisions that we hope will keep staff both safe and comfortable:
- Wear a mask when unable to maintain at least 6 feet of distance, particularly in shared work spaces
- Wear a mask when travelling through the buildings, as you don’t know if you will encounter someone else
- Wear a mask when taking books outside for curbside service, or other circumstances in which you could come in contact with patrons or other staff
- Wear a mask in your office if you choose to keep the door open. If you are alone in your office/workspace and keep the door closed, you do not need to wear a mask.
- You do not need to wear a mask if you are alone while shelving or pulling holds in a section of the stacks. Please have a mask available to put on if someone enters your area.
You may also need to take brief mask breaks in addition to your regular breaks. Step outside, go to a study room or unoccupied area of the building and take a deep breath or two. If you have any questions or concerns, please discuss them with your supervisor or contact Sarah at reynoldss@forsythpl.org or Nikki Watkins at watkinsk@forsythpl.org.
