Other GA libraries begin curbside service

I subscribe to a listserv of Georgia Public Library Directors (PLD).  This listserv is a great source of information and ideas.  Today there were several posts from directors of libraries that started curbside service today.  As we approach this milestone next week, I thought you would be interested in seeing their comments.

·       We started curbside service today, and it has gone remarkably well.  Staff started taking calls and setting up the schedule last week.  This morning was when the pick-up started.  Both patrons and staff are enjoying.  It's nice having a bit of normalcy.  Reopened our book drops today, too.

·       We started curbside today too. Cars lined up...  So far happy customers and smiling staff...

·       We started Curbside pickup today also. I couldn't sleep last night like it was the first day of school. Our patrons are so appreciative of this service.

·       We also started curbside today. Patrons are thrilled and excited and we are too. We had 12 pages of holds today.
·       We're back to doing curb-side as well.  Many patrons are wearing masks, but you can still see the smile in their eyes!  It is nice to have a bit of normalcy and to be making some folks happy.

  1. Reading these comments brought a huge smile :) to my face as well. Looking at our Facebook page yesterday was also an encouragement.
