There is a regularly scheduled Board meeting on Monday, May 18^th at 5:30.  This meeting will be held via GoToWebinar.  The agenda and information about accessing the meeting is available on the Board page of the Library’s website.  We are holding the meeting via videoconference because:

·       The Governor’s requirements for reopening businesses include “holding all meetings and conferences virtually, whenever possible.”

·       The County is still using videoconferencing for public meetings.

·       Even using a meeting room, the number of staff and members of the public able to attend would have to be limited due to social distancing.  This is contrary to the intention of the Open Meetings Act. 

As with all Board meetings, we will provide an update to staff about any actions taken during the meeting.
