There will be a special called meeting of the Library Board
on Monday, April 27th at 10:00 AM via GoToWebinar. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss plans
for a phased reopening of the libraries.
Information about accessing the meeting is available on the Board page of
the Library’s website.
No dates or final plans for reopening have been
determined. These topics will be
discussed at the Board meeting. I will recommend
curbside service as the first step towards reopening, with no patron access to
the buildings. A talented group of
supervisors are working on resolving the myriad of logistical and safety issues
involved.
As with all Board meetings, we will provide an update to
staff about any actions taken during the meeting.
